Submission Guidelines

AASHE welcomes suggestions of news, new resources, opportunities, jobs and events to be included on the Bulletin website and in the associated e-newsletter. Items may be submitted for consideration via the corresponding submission form. You will need to log in with your AASHE account in order to submit. If you don't have one already, you can create one now.

Submissions will be reviewed in accordance with the guidelines below. In particular, all submissions must include a valid URL and relate directly to higher education sustainability.

News

Submitted news items must be related to the advancement of sustainability in higher education and published within the last two months. (Photo/image upload is encouraged with submission: images must be 1MB or smaller )

Opportunities

Includes all opportunities that are related to campus sustainability, except employment and fellowship opportunities (which are included in the Jobs & Internships section) and events (which are included in the Events section). This may include awards programs, calls for proposals, and survey solicitations.

New Resources

New Resources (e.g., publications, toolkits) must have been released within the last two months. AASHE encourages resources related to sustainability in higher education to also be submitted to the Campus Sustainability Hub.

Events

The Bulletin has a wide geographical readership, therefore submitted events must involve significant participation beyond the city or state/province, and must be focused on higher education sustainability or have a major track clearly dedicated to higher education.

For events that do not fit into these guidelines, advertising opportunities are available.

Jobs & Internships

Job ad submissions are free for AASHE member organizations. Jobs must be directly related to furthering campus sustainability and have sustainability concepts as part of their job descriptions (faculty positions in a sustainability-related field can be included). Unpaid internships will not be accepted.

Job opportunities available to students/faculty/staff at only one school, or programs that are not new programs but are just seeking graduates are not accepted. Advertising options are available for jobs, internships and fellowships that do not fit within these guidelines.
